The chips come in three varieties: a white chip, a red chip, and a blue chip. The lowest value chip is a white chip. A red chip is worth five whites. A blue chip is worth ten or twenty or more. A blue chip is worth two, four, or five reds. Each player buys in for the amount of chips they wish to bet, usually the same amount.
